Yeah Yeah Yeahs – Live in Singapore

I have to say that I was lucky enough to get the chance to see Yeah Yeah Yeahs live in Singapore last Tuesday Jan 12th at Esplanade concert hall.
Most of my friends in Jakarta and even Singapore couldn’t get a ticket because it was sold out. Thanks to Quincy from Blackmarket who helped to find me a ticket. Even tho I have to say it was kinda pricey, but worth it anyway ( I got the stalls stall which is very close to the stage so I could see Karen O really clear ).
The show was really really great. The stage set, was a eye ball balloon and Karen O’s outfits were amazing. Karen O, Brian Chase and Nick Zinner really rawked Esplanade.
But one think that I can’t understand is, why on earth we need seats for a rock concert, no space for us to jump about crazy. I was expecting the crowd to be wild, like jumping on the seat, but it didn’t happen. I’m sure if YYYs play in Jakarta, the crowd will be wilder than in Singapore ;p Anyway here’s some photos from the concert, enjoy
