Flannel Plaid Shirts

Are you obsessed with Flannel Plaid Shirts as well? There has never been as much variety of the flannel shirts as today it seems, and the popularity of the plaid check button shirt seems no where near ending yet. It is another one of these timeless fashion items that will have its ups and downs, but never goes out of style.
Over the last couple of years there has been a huge revival for the flannel shirt with almost all street wear brands out there making their own twist on the shirts.
Throughout the 80′ and 90’s flannel shirts were seen a lot in skateboarding, punk, rap and ska culture, but the last big revival was the grunge era in the early 90’s, starting with rock bands in Seattle in particular.
The history of the flannel fabric has been guessed to be traced all the way back to a Welsh origin as early as the 16th century. As a fashion item of today the cotton flannel shirt still provides ideal garb for the chillier weather outdoors, without the need for outerwear.
